Business Development Manager Laboratory m/f/d

Your duties

The Business Unit Professional focuses on system solutions for commercial applications. These innovative concepts include products and services in the Laboratory area.

  • Definition of worldwide vision, strategy and solutions roadmap for the customer segment Laboratory
  • Developing the customer segment by optimization and redesign of the solutions portfolio including devices, accessories, consumables, services, digital solutions as well as business models in alignment with Product management, R&D and Sales & Service
  • Identifying market potential, market requirements and customer needs by market & competitive analysis in different countries
  • Building international partnerships & lead in compiling specifications for tenders
  • Networking with responsible stakeholders in regions, like customers, dealers, key opinion leaders, manufacturers, etc.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the specified field of work in the international customer segment Laboratory
  • University degree with focus on industrial engineering, engineering, chemistry or other relevant faculty is an advantage
  • Pioneering/Entrepreneur mind, strong networking, proactive approach to work and good analytical skills
  • Good understanding of technical aspects of the products
  • High willingness to travel internationally and excellent written and verbal communication in English (German skills are an advantage)
